Los Gatos is at the base of the Sierra Azules and is 60 miles south of San Francisco. Los Gatos has a wide variety of terrain, ranging from level land to steep and densely wooded hillsides. Both the valley and hillsides have creeks and streams making it an ideal place for hiking and other outdoor recreation activities. As one of Santa Clara’s oldest communities, Los Gatos has older, established residential areas and a downtown with many beautiful historic buildings.
