To post your home for sale on Craigslist, follow these steps:
Navigate To Your Location
You will find this button on the top left sidebar.
Click "Create a Posting"
Choose "Post to Classifieds".
Add Type of Posting
Choose "housing offered", then select "real estate offered" as the category, then "for sale by owner".
Agree To the Terms
Read through the terms and click to agree.
Write Your Post
Start by creating a catchy headline, then write compelling content for the body.
Add Your Price
Be sure and research common market pricing for the location of the home.
Upload Photos
It is important to show people what they are buying, so make sure you take a lot of clear photos.
Submit and Confirm Your Ad
After you review and submit your ad, Craigslist will email you a confirmation, click to verify your listing, and your ad will go public.
